Data layers allow you to create different variations of the same World - such as day and night versions - as layers that exist in the same space. Team members can also simultaneously work on the same area of the same World without stepping on each other’s feet through the new One File Per Actor system. The new World Partitioning system in Unreal Engine 5 changes the way levels are managed and streamed, automatically dividing the world into grids and threading the necessary tiles.
